Ingredients
9 lasagna noodles
30 oz cottage cheese
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
4 eggs
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
2 27oz jars of spaghetti sauce
1 cup of water
1 lb of ground beef
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Cook and drain ground beef.
Mix together the cottage cheese, 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, basil, and oregano.
Mix together ground beef, water, and spaghetti sauce.
Layer in a 9'' X 13'' pan from bottom to top:
2 cups meat sauce
3 lasagna noodles
1/2 cheese mixture
1/2 of the remaining meat sauce
3 lasagna noodles
the rest of the cheese mixture
1/2 of the remaining meat sauce
3 lasagna noodles
the rest of the meat sauce
sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over top.
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Let it cool for 15 min before cutting into it to serve.
This recipe makes 9-12 servings.
